Apple PowerBook (PowerPC) w/ PC Card slot ( The AirCard 550 and 555 do NOT work in the MacBook or MacBook Pro! )

Mac OS X 10.2.5 through 10.4.11.

An AirCard® 550 or 555. To our knowledge, this driver does NOT work with any cards other than the Aircard® 550 and 555, and we will not support such configurations.

NOTE: Your AirCard® 555 must be pre-activated on a Windows® PC.

This is a data-only driver for owners of Mac PowerBooks running Mac OS X, version 10.2.5 or later. This is the only supported solution we know of that has a full installer so you don't have to go to a command prompt to make it work.

Initial card activation (the process performed with the cellular carrier to set up the phone number and account) requires a Windows PC, but this process can be easily performed in the store when you purchase the hardware, anyway. Once the card has been activated, our driver software is all you will need to use it in your Mac OS X PowerBook!

10/29/07: Leopard (10.5) Compatibility statement: We've updated the driver compatibility list to allow users to try using this driver in Mac OS X 10.5, but this is not a supported configuration.
