Quit YAP if you have it running.

Open your Display Properties window (right-click on your desktop and select properties), it should look like the screen to the right.

1. Click on Monitor 2.

2. Set the resolution as low as you can get it. The lower the resolution, the smoother the scrolling will be. We recommend 640x480.

3. Check the box to "Extend my Windows desktop onto this monitor."

4. Click Apply and then click OK.

Launch YAP and load your text file.

Quit YAP if you have it running.

Open your System Preferences and click the Displays icon.

1. Select the Arrangement tab.

2. Make sure Mirror Displays is unchecked.

3. Move your cursor to the second screen and change and set the resolution as low as you can get it. The lower the resolution, the smoother the scrolling will be. We recommend 640x480.

4. Click the close box.

Launch YAP and load your text file.
